Better Vibe Coding

Vibe coding promises that anyone can write software, but you'll be a better vibe coder if you know more about the language and concepts of coding.

VibeGlossary, created by the tireless Ray Villalobos for his students at Stanford, teaches the terminology and techniques of vibe coding.

It’s genuinely fun to browse, and even includes prompts you can copy and use in your own vibe coding projects.

My favorite feature so far is a subheading Ray used in one of his prompts: “If you remember nothing else.” This is far better than burning millions of tokens and then yelling at your laptop: “You had ONE JOB!”
